Well hello there!
I have been so busy throughout the month of February that blogging had to be placed on the back burner. We’ve continued to visit Disney theme parks which has been a great break from studying for my Life & Health Insurance certification, but I would be lying if I didn’t say that it has been a stressful couple of weeks.
There’s lots of updates to catch you all up on, but in the meantime I hope you enjoy some fun Disney photos!
February 12 – Beautiful day at Epcot!
February 19 – Sunday Funday at Magic Kingdom!
February 26 – Animal Kingdom with the cousins!
Where do I begin…
February started off easy and breezy. I got to celebrate a friend’s Baby Sprinkle, we got together with my parents to watch the Super Bowl (Lady Gaga killed the halftime show), I completed my first Diet Bet and reached my goal, I signed Mark and I up for The Color Run 5k race on March 25, Mark and I had a date night and saw ‘Split’ (sooooo disappointed in the movie!!!!), then I finally passed my online exam for my Life & Health Insurance course.
We also ventured to Epcot for a beautiful day, celebrated our Pug’s 10th birthday, ate lots of candy on Valentine’s Day, but then our poor baby girl got sick. She wasn’t feeling good and was unable to keep down her formula for a whole day. The next day was my Life & Health Insurance exam, but I ended up not sitting for the test since I thought I needed to take Brinlee to the doctors. She ended up recovering completely…I was so relieved she was feeling better, as well as gaining more time to study for my exam.
A friend of mine came into town from the Keys, we had another Sunday Funday at Magic Kingdom, my niece and Brother-in-Law were in town for a short visit, I finally reached AdvoCare Advisor level, Mark and I ran in the Gasperilla 5k, we had a cousin day at Animal Kingdom (so much fun and lots of yummy food), I began my Slim Challenge…but then the beginning of March happened.
So…Not only did I have to reschedule my first attempt at passing my Life & Health exam due to my daughter being sick, but when I arrived at the testing center on March 2nd I was told I was scheduled for the previous day! There was a HUGE miscommunication and I was unable to sit for the exam. I haven’t been that upset in YEARS!! I had to remind myself that there are worse things that could happen, but in that moment I was devastated. I was studying non-stop that week, up late the night before and was SO ready to pass!!
I’m currently gearing for my third attempt at sitting for the exam scheduled for tomorrow. I will take all the prayers and warm wishes I can get. I know this will be the end of one journey and the beginning of another. I am so blessed and want to give a HUGE shout out to my husband who has been supporting me through everything…as well as putting up with my stressed out self during this minor bump in the road.
On to the next adventure!
