A blurry photo, but I’m sure you can tell how excited I am…because I completed the Run 5k App interval training program on Saturday! I ran 30 minutes non-stop and even felt energized afterwards. I may have a slow pace, but I am mighty proud of myself.
It’s been exactly 3 months and 1 week since Brinlee was born…and here I am running further & sooner than I did after my first C-Section. It feels amazing increasing my endurance and seeing how much more I can push myself. I am excited about the changes my body will be going through these next few weeks, as well as the months and years to come because I am determined to keep this lifestyle up. This fun, exciting, motivating, and healthy lifestyle.
I also gotta give some praise to my AdvoCare products because I feel more energized and less bloated than ever! I have never been much of a supplement taker, but I am a believer in these products. Tomorrow I will be starting Day Eight of the 24-Day Challenge and have already noticed my clothes fitting differently! WOO HOO! It’ll be nice to go into the New Year with a head start.
I’ve also started the Bikini Body Mommy workouts and completed the first week of exercises. This program incorporates alternating strength training days with cardio. You can find the strength training videos up on You Tube and I’ll continue working on my cardio and hopefully increase my speed. I have a lot of 5ks lined up for 2017 and plan to beat my time each race.
If you’re unsure where to start with your personal fitness journey…just take baby steps. Remember it’s a marathon and not a sprint. Anything you set goals for will take time…so be patient and just enjoy the process. There’s also a lot to learn along the way.
